Dialogue III

Dialogue III is the third in a series of exhibitions which have taken place at the Amore theater in Athens, Greece where a young Greek artist is invited to work within the theatre alongside Dokimes V (Trials V) a platform for young scriptwriters and directors to raise their first theatre productions. Dialogue no. III is organised by locus athens and Alkistis Poulopoulou.

Margarita Bofiliou was invited to work on an interdisciplinary project in collaboration with the scriptwriters, directors and actors involved in the theatre productions. The result is a heavenly garden within the theatre foyer; a perfect man-made world, an earthly paradise which she parallels with the riches to be found in the depths of our subconscious. As Bofiliou wrote in the exhibition catalogue, “escaping into a garden is in turn a release inwards.”
