locus athens is a non-profit contemporary arts organization founded in 2004 and co-directed by Maria-Thalia Carras and Sophia Tournikiotis.

locus athens has no exhibition space as such; instead it curates a series of projects in various sites around the city of Athens, as well as organizes talks, debates, arts film showings and publishes a series of catalogues and art books. The conditions and particularities of each site are central to the development of each event. Each project is an exciting, flexible, open ended visual art experiment.
